OUR VISION FOR AN EMPOWERED FUTURE

Westchester Justice for Families (WJF) is a grassroots organization committed to advocating for families impacted by the family court and child welfare systems. We fight for judicial accountability, legislative reform, and community-driven solutions that empower parents to protect their rights and keep their families together.

Founded by individuals with lived experience, WJF recognizes the deep injustices within the legal system that disproportionately target marginalized communities, strip parents of their rights, and separate families without due process. We believe that the current system prioritizes federal funding incentives over genuine child welfare, often perpetuating harm instead of healing.

Through advocacy, education, and direct support, WJF equips parents with the legal knowledge and advocacy tools they need to challenge an unjust system. Our work includes hosting workshops, engaging in legislative advocacy, mobilizing communities, and demanding systemic change.

We envision a future where families are supported rather than criminalized, where transparency and oversight replace secrecy and corruption, and where parents have access to the resources they need to protect their children. WJF is more than an organization—we are a movement committed to justice, reform, and unity for every family.
